I will pick myself up before I come tumbling down.
I will control my life and throw all senselessness out of my back door.
I will reach my goals at leaps and bounds.
No one is going to make me fall!
No one is going to make me bend!
None of my failures are going to hinder me; they will make me strong!
Old problems will be solved; new problems will not be obstacles but challenges!
No one will ridicule me; if they do, the tables will turn!
I will live a life of ease because I choose to.
I will live a life in peace because I choose to.
I'm going to have a full and enjoyable life,
live beautiful dreams, think positive thoughts,
and I will die happy!
just a thought...
A song so priceless
Gems for the listening ear
Music that calms, soothes...
And then a while back this comes to me
I can understand her frustration.
...I really can.
I'm there myself.
Trying and trying
No matter how hard you try,
you,re told,
"You,re not good enough"
"You're not quite what we need"
"We can't use you right now! The position
has already been filled!"

Let the Rains
Let the rains wash away the sadness.
Let the rains drown my tears.
Soon the sun will shine.

Today
What are you going to do today?
Did you procrastinate the other day?
Do you play the role of a mime?
Nothing happens when waiting for time.
Yesterday is part of the past--
memories will last.
Tomorrow will take care of itself;
tomorrow may never arrive.
What about today?
In darkness or in light,
In morning or at night,
they are always in sight.
In laughter or in tears,
they are all ears.
They tell us of what was
or what's to come.
They come forth to ask the questions,
or plaque us with doubt.
They hold the answers of yesterday,
and the mysteries of tomorrow.
One is never alone,
for they are always there!
Celia M. Thornhill
Tomorrow
tomorrow
can mean so much
usually
tomorrow
means something good
tomorrow
may end a war
tomorrow
could start a new life
maybe
tomorrow
will welcome a new era
tomorrow
means goodness
symbolic of all hopes, fears, and dreams
for me
tomorrow
may be the beginning
tomorrow
you may love me back

Daddy Came Home
Something weird happened yesterday,
I was doing my homework, like usual every day
When I felt a gust of wind and that's when
Daddy came in.
I gasped for air with all my might
But I still couldn't get over the fright.
He came over and hugged me tight and
Asked if I was alright.
I told him about school and boys
And he asked if I still played with toys.
I smiled just a little bit and said,
"Daddy I'm a teenager, that's over with."
We laughed and talked, I felt so glad but
then he had to go and that made me sad.
He hugged me and said he'd see me again someday.
You may think this is not weird but there is
something I forgot to say,
Daddy died a year ago today.

LOOK AT THE MAN WHO IS BOLD
LOOK AT THE MAN THAT'S COLD & SELFISH
LOOK AT THE MAN WITH SOUL
LOOK AT THE MAN CONCERNED WITH HIS IMAGE
LOOK AT THE MAN WITHOUT FASHION?
LOOK AT THE MAN WITH TOO MANY WORRIES
LOOK AT THE MAN WITH PASSIONS
LOOK AT THE MAN WHO SOWS AND SOWS

I AM FREE
I AM FREE
NO MORE MISERY
ALONE I STAND
NO MORE TEARS
BEEN THRU TOO MUCH
THRU THE YEARS
MOVIN ON
MAKE THE BEST
BREATHE FRESH AIR
IS LIFE A TEST
WHATEVER THE CASE
ON GOES THE SHOW
BUT I AM FREE
AND THIS MUCH I KNOW
I AM FREE
PRAYED ON MY KNEES
AT MY REQUEST
I JUST WANT PEACE
WHATEVER'S LEFT
LET CRAZINESS CEASE
I DON'T DESERVE THIS
CAN'T GET NO AIR
TOO MUCH WEIGHT
AND BURDEN TO BEAR
IF THIS IS A TEST
WELL, ON GOES THE SHOW
...BUT I AM FREE
AND THIS MUCH I DO KNOW

DEPRESSION SUCH A WASTE OF TIME
GOT TO LEAVE THE BLUES BEHIND
SADNESS, YES IT COMES AND GOES
ANGER SOMETHING EVERYONE KNOWS
PETTY THINGS TURN INTO MOLE HILLS
PEOPLE END UP TAKING PILLS
GET INVOLVED AND JOIN THE WORLD

STUCK ON PAUSE, CAN'T SAY GOODBYE
OLD THINGS HAVE PASSED-THE DAYS BRAND NEW

THERE'S NO GUARANTEE OF A TOMORROW
EVERY MINUTE A GIFT FROM ABOVE
MIGHT AS WELL EXPERIENCE LOVE

Years of laughter, youth &
promise
Smiling faces and friendships
Times of peace, love & person
growth,
Life full of faith, patience & hope
As I sit here in this home in
Old Age
With no assistance
Abused
Neglected
& Lonely
No hugs and kisses here to
console me
Emptiness & controlled isolation
from the things of my younger
years
Instead of happy smiles and girlish
laughter, my nights are full of tears
I miss my family, I miss my youth,
I miss being able to stand up for
myself
But I?m weak now
and I am afraid to
scream out for help. Dawn Alyse Payne On April 24,2008, Dawn Alyse Payne, a HS Junior,

Do not stand at my grave and weep
Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.
Mary Frye 1904-2004 This is the original Mary Frye's (attributed) famous inspirational poem, prayer, and bereavement verse.
Authorship of the poem in its original form (with two verses) is not entirely clear, but it is largely considered to have been written by Mary Elizabeth Frye (1904-2004).
This poem is also a dedication to George Carlin, Estelle Getty, Randy Pausch and
Barbara Ann Teer. A tribute has been made on behalf of these four people who have made an impact in our lives in one way or another and has been posted in My Creative Blog Corner. Please

Cat Trip
Awareness "So many times we forget about the things that go on right outside our doors. So busy and a hurry to get things done that we fail to notice the tiny kitty lurking in the shadows wondering to itself is this gonna be the one that helps me? I am so hungry I'm so cold......"
Mayflowerblood
Homeless cats is an issue that Mayflowerblood cares deeply about. As an advocate and cat lover,
Maflowerblood says that he can't sit idly by and allow this to be unspoken of. The music video speaks for itself!
The lyrics are poetry and that's why it is posted here!

The Threat Of Global Warming
The threat of global warming to human kind is a real threat indeed
And the warnings of climate change experts we'd do best for to heed
Dirty factory chimneys to the sky puffing up smoke
The anger of Nature why do we provoke?
In a World of six billion people and millions of trucks and cars
And in an age when humans through technology have explored in vain for life on Mars
For to combat global warming we could do much more
But the warnings of climate change experts most Governments ignore
Global warming is for real that would seem fair to say
And the children of the future for our mistakes must pay
But cleaner air and water we can help to create
And to combat global warming it is not too late
The burning of fossil fuels and carbon emissions is poisoning the air
And the scourge of pollution is rampant everywhere.
